Los Angeles¨Cbased lingerie collection Naked Princess is created for the truly romantic.
Founded by Jordana Woodland and Becca B. Frank, the luxury lifestyle collection bowed online in November and is having its trade show debut during the Feb. 11¨C13 run of CurveNV at The Venetian in Las Vegas. With many pieces inspired by Woodland's collection of vintage lingerie, Naked Princess features luxe European fabrics and ultra-feminine silhouettes and details. Woodland serves as chief executive officer, muse and publisher of the company's online lifestyle magazine, Reign, and Frank serves as chief creative officer for the collection and for Reign.
The two brought on lingerie designer Mary Jo Bruno to create the first two collections. Rounding out the executive ranks is Henry Mandell, former president of Ed Hardy, who served as chief operating officer and chief financial officer of Naked Princess, and Ayn Carillo Gailey, who serves as chief content officer of Naked Princess and editor in chief of Reign.
The line launched on Black Friday with a collection called "And She Lived Lovely Ever After." The debut included a lace bodysuit, silk kimono robe and cashmere-blend chemises. The Naked Princess online shop also sells body and beauty products, such as vanille blanc body souffl¨¦ and lip polish and gloss. There are candles and "boudoir spray" and a curated offering of books on poetry, love letters and photography by Lillian Bassman, Veronique Vial and Bruno Bisang.
